According to preliminary data inflation in Russia for 11 months of 2006 made 8,1 %, the first vice-president of the Central Bank Alexey Uljukaev informed journalists within the limits of celebrating of Banker Day on Thursday. (according to materials of RIA NOVOSTI)

As he said on results of a year inflation will not exceed 9 %.

"Our inflation of 9 % is a three in questions of restraint (growth consumer prices)", - the head of the Ministry of Finance of Russia Alexey Kudrin declared in turn, acting on ceremony of celebrating of Banker Day.

As he said results of strengthening of national currency more than 10 % last year can be also estimated as a three.

The prices for electric power and gas for the population in 2007-2009 will grow within the limits of stipulated by the forecast of social and economic development of the Russian Federation for these years. Head of Minpromenergo Victor Khristenko said about it to journalists.

He reminded that the forecast approved by the government provides increase of gas prices by 15 % in 2007, 14 % - in 2008, 13 % - in 2009, the prices for electric power - 10 %, 9 % and 8 % accordingly. Minister added that the prices for population after this three-year period will remain adjustable and will be set by federal executive authorities.

MARKET’S GENERAL ESTIMATION.

The Russian shares on Thursday rose at opening and swung at new levels. RTS index was up 0,65 % to 1777 points, having updated a historical maximum on closing.

The Russian market on Thursday managed to begin the tenders at higher level. Substantially it became consequence of the last day when at hike of volumes appreciable growth of the majority of blue chips was observed. Hope for restoration of strong demand created a positive background of session. Besides it was also caused by growth in the markets of the USA and Asia after upward revision of GDP estimation in the USA for III quarter of 2006 and oil market where the prices approached a tow-monthly maximum because of unexpected falling of stocks of raw material and mineral oil in the States.

The leaders were Gazprom and RAO "United Energy Systems" that is connected with the proceeded discussion of development of power branch in morning. When there was news that the Government has practically made a decision on the beginning of process of gradual liberalization of gas market since 2007, the part of investors began to fix profit on these papers. LUKOIL, Tatneft and Sberbank were also fixed.

The most part of day RTS index was in speculative fluctuations at levels above the maximal closing in its history, but and not having reached an intraday historical top (1795 points - "ceiling" was a little above 1780 points. Nevertheless, the historical top on closing was updated by the index.

On results of the tenders Gazprom did not practically change in price, LUKOIL was up 0,1 %, Norilsk nickel - 0,8 %. Sberbank fell 0,6 %, Surgutneftegaz - 0,1 %, Tatneft - 2,4 %. The leader of growth were papers of RAO "United Energy Systems" which grew 2,7 %.
