MACROECONOMICS.
The deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Denisov counts on that to following summit of APEC which will take place in Australia in September of next year, Russia becomes the full member of WTO. (according to materials of RIA NOVOSTI).
The deputy minister reminded of that at the summit in Hanoi it is planned to sign the report on end of bilateral negotiations between the Russian Federation and the USA about WTO.
"It is possible to tell so that now we are close to the joining WTO on 70 %, and after signing of the report from the USA we will be close on 80, and, maybe, and 90 %", - he told.
Denisov noted that after end of bilateral negotiations Russia should finish multilateral negotiations on WTO. "We will agree about multilateral terms of trade for a long time. We will face a lot of difficulties there", - he noted.
MARKET’S GENERAL ESTIMATION.
On Thursday the Russian stock market kept growing at the moderate rates. Major factors of influence on the market became statistical data and rising in price oil on a background of drop in commercial stocks of mineral oil and growth of their consumption in the USA. According to the US Department of Labor, consumer prices (CPI) fell 0,5 % in October in comparison with the last month at the expected reduction of 0,3 %. Core CPI was up 0,1 % whereas the increase by 0,2 % was predicted. It means decrease of inflationary pressure in the country and improbable increase of FRS rate in the future. MICEX index increased 0,96 % up to 1519,01 points, RTS index raised 0,45 % and made 1713,46 points.
Rosneft shares kept falling (-1,58 %) on MICEX. Gazpromneft and Gazprom shares also lost 0,45 % and 0,12 % accordingly after news about changes in a management of the companies. The remained oil companies were closed in "plus": Tatneft (+1,66 %), LUKOIL (+0,47 %), Surgutneftegaz (+0,46 %). Quotations of common stock of Sberbank on MICEX were up 2,54 %, and preference stock - 4,45 % after it became known that the volume of additional issue is planned at a rate of $6-8,5 billion.
In the second echelon demand for Aeroflot papers, which added only 0,89 % on MICEX, though the reporting for 9 months showed growth of net profit almost 2 times as much in comparison with the similar period of the last year, was observed. Other "blue chips" finished theday on MICEX as follows: RAO "United Energy Systems" (+2,36 %), Norilsk Nickel (+1,67 %), Rostelecom (+0,03 %), MTS (-0,62 %). The volume of the tenders on MICEX made $3699,29 million. In classical section of RTS it remained at a former level - $51,57 million.
GAZPROM.
Gazprom net profit for 9 months of 2006 increased 1,7 times as much - up to 235 billion 830 million rbl in comparison with the similar period of the last year, the press-service of the company informs. The proceeds of gas holding for this period raised 1,3 times as much - up to 1,185 bln. rbl. The proceeds from gas sales increased 1,4 times as much and made 952,778 billion rbl., services on its transportation - 16,975 billion rbl. (1,2 times as much).
However this news did not affect in any way shares of the joint-stock company, the prices continue to be weakly volatile in a narrow sideways. While we remain outside the market.
